Innovaway opens to financial markets
Innovaway brings his testimony to the "Rating Advisory Activity and Mini-Bond Short Term" as a way to evolve corporate finance "- Monday, May 8, 2017
At the headquarters of the ODCEC of Naples at the Piazza dei Martiri, the “Rating Advisory Activity and Mini-Bond Short Term” conference was held. Innovaway was invited to attend the conference to bring its testimony as the first real case in Mini-Bond short-term in the Campania region listed on the Extra Mot Pro segment of Borsa Italiana. "Innovaway S.p.A., which has made the first steps on the Italian Stock Exchange these days, issuing the first short-term mini-bond, has begun an internal path of development and has approached the financial markets to support the development of the corporate business," said Mario Bowinkel, President Aira (Italian Rating Advisory Association). At the conference the Aira book "The New Model of Finance for Italian Pmi", was presented and was published by the Istituto Armando Curcio - University Press. Among the authors, professionals associated with Aira and prestigious members of Banca d'Italia, Borsa Italiana and Frigiolini & Partners Merchant.
M. Michelino, ODCEC Delegate Adviser in Naples, has repeatedly emphasised the importance of training to provide companies with more specialised expertise in this field, a concept resumed by Vincenzo Moretta, President of the Order of Chartered Accountants and Naples Accounting Experts, who have hoped for constant training of the specialist consultant who knows how to support the IMPs so that they can evolve in the light of changes in the market. A. Coppola, National Secretary of Accountants, highlighted the relationship between Pmi and banks and how they are increasingly sensitive to the issues of compound interest and the need for sound financial planning for Pmi. M. Bruno, Vice-President of the Industrial Union, points out that while the issue of mini-bonds is still the most expensive option of debt risk and bank debt, there is a strong focus on the issue by the Pmi also in the south, despite 80% of emissions being subscribed to the North. Bowinkel, particularly enthusiastic about the broad consensus that the event has gathered, has highlighted the particular interest that certain topics are beginning to arouse in southern Italy: "It is necessary to develop a corporate culture that interprets the release of mini-Bond also as an important marketing tool. These operations are often read by the markets as a signal of corporate transparency, openness to new markets and good support for internationalisation processes. Opening up to financial markets means faster, accurate and timely data communication and certainly increases the overall rating of the company; listing on the market means starting an important evolutionary path and a future development process. “Fabio Brigante, manager of Italian Stock Exchange has drawn attention to the importance for SMEs to diversify sources of supply, drawing on the concept of consulting specialisation, an upward trend that marks the birth of a business culture ready to emerge from the financial markets. "These operations represent an opportunity for every business as long as the entrepreneur is curious, forward-thinking, and humble," Frigoli said. It remains essential to spread awareness about such tools and to reduce the informational asymmetries generated by the bias of framing and overconfidence.
To tell the Innovaway experience was General Manager, Francesco Ferrera, who stressed that “in the issues dealt with, it seemed to rethink Innovaway's experience in developing the strategy for issuing short-term mini-bonds” and brought the statement by Antonio Giacomini, CEO of Innovaway «Innovaway Group SpA has implemented a "cultural" first choice: to innovate its financial, strategic and organizational management in order to return to that elite of companies, more dynamic and evolving, diversifying their financial sources by supporting other banking instruments (also resulting in less dependence on the banking system). Instead, he chose not to undergo changes, but to act and govern the new rules of the game, through the support of Independent Consultants, choosing Advisor M. Bowinkel and Frigiolini & Partners Merchant».
